Tailored to your needs
Your doctor recommends only the investigations appropriate for your circumstances. An examination is performed only where clinically indicated, and many patients do not require one.

Laboratory testing
Blood, urine or swabs
Depending on your assessment, testing may include blood samples, urine tests, and swabs. All samples are processed by an accredited South African pathology laboratory.

Results & treatment
Explained by your doctor
Your doctor explains your results clearly, discusses any treatment or prevention required, and answers your questions. Where appropriate, treatment can be started immediately, with follow-up arranged if needed.

Where clinically indicated
Follow-up is arranged only where clinically indicated, ensuring your care continues for as long as needed.

Initial consultations are R700 and monthly or bimonthly follow-up consultations are R500. The R700 consultation includes the assessment, test selection, explanation of your first results and a prescription where clinically appropriate. Laboratory investigations are billed separately by the pathology laboratory. Follow-ups within five days are not charged.
No medical aid? No problem.
The price you see is the whole price, plus the blood lab's own bill for any tests. Nothing else, and nothing on account.
