The P-Shot
The P-shot is an injection of platelet-rich plasma (PRP), prepared from your own blood, into penile tissue, offered for erectile function within a defined clinical protocol.
The P-shot follows a specific, standardised protocol for preparing and injecting PRP. It is performed by a doctor at 15 on Orange after numbing cream has taken full effect.
How it works
A standard blood sample is drawn from your arm, exactly as at any lab visit. The sample is spun in a centrifuge to concentrate the platelets, the blood component involved in tissue repair and growth factor release.
After topical anaesthetic has had time to work, the platelet-rich plasma is injected into defined points in the penile tissue. The full appointment takes under an hour, and the injection itself only minutes.
Because the material comes from your own blood, allergic reaction risk is very low. The most common after-effects are mild bruising or tenderness for a day or two.
