The O-Shot
The O-shot is an injection of platelet-rich plasma, prepared from your own blood, into clitoral and vaginal tissue, offered for arousal difficulty, orgasm difficulty and some symptoms of GSM.
The O-shot brings the same PRP approach used in male procedures to female sexual medicine. It is performed by a doctor at 15 on Orange, with numbing cream, after a proper assessment of what is actually driving your symptoms.
How it works
Your blood is drawn and centrifuged to concentrate the platelets, the same preparation used in the male PRP procedures.
After topical anaesthetic has taken effect, small volumes of PRP are injected into defined sites in the clitoral and anterior vaginal wall tissue. The appointment takes under an hour.
After-effects are usually limited to mild tenderness or spotting for a day or so. Most women return to normal activity the same day.
What the evidence says
Research on PRP for female sexual function is at an earlier stage than the male work: small studies and case series suggest possible benefit for arousal, orgasm difficulty and some GSM symptoms, and rigorous controlled trials are still scarce. It is offered as an investigational option, clearly framed as such. Importantly, the eligibility consult often finds a better-evidenced first step, such as local vaginal oestrogen for dryness, and your doctor will say so when it does.
Who tends to be a candidate
Women with arousal or orgasm difficulty, or GSM symptoms, in whom better-established treatments have been considered first or alongside. Women with untreated hormonal causes, active infection, or expectations the evidence cannot support are counselled honestly at the consult, and sometimes advised not to proceed.

Does the O-shot hurt?
Topical anaesthetic cream is applied and given time to work before any injection. Most women report brief pressure or stinging rather than significant pain, with mild tenderness or light spotting possible for a day afterwards.
What does the O-shot actually help with?
It is offered for difficulty with arousal or orgasm and for some symptoms of genitourinary syndrome of menopause. The supporting research is early and we say that plainly. For dryness alone, better-evidenced options like local vaginal oestrogen are usually offered first.
Will I be examined before the procedure?

How long does the O-shot last?
